Project 1 Presents... 31st January 2009 at the Roadmender, Northampton.
Two and a half months on and Project1 Presents… was back in Northampton to see yet another line up prepare to mount an assault. Following the successes from the last event this event was branded as the Return of Lost Without Cause.
Building upon great concepts, Milton Keynes based band J.A.R were brought into open the nights events. This was especially special for Project1 Presents… as the band had been locked away for the past year writing, recording and practicing, everything other than playing live gigs. When the music started though, you could not tell. This band quite literally rocked the socks off each and every person in the crowd.
The next band on, were local heroes The Bromptons, a real performance of true Rock n Roll was to ensue. A flawless performance which kept the fans focused on them. Locked, almost paralytic to the music.
As the night passed the bands played the headline slot opened up. A refreshed Lost Without Cause were ready to put out a phenomenal performance, knowing that Northampton had wanted them back.
The band put all their energy into the set and had a relentless crowd following them through the journey of their musical catalogue, until sadly there set had to end, but not before throwing the crowd the track they wanted to hear, Electric – to see a video of this performance please click here.
